While looking for toy and vintage cameras one day, I ran across a Polaroid SX-70 camera. What a marvel it was, but what really set it apart from the growing arsenal of cameras that I own, was its magical film. Gorgeous Time Zero film. If there ever was a love affair between a camera and its film, this was it. Not only do you get great colors, you have the ability to turn that Polaroid print into a mini artistic painting. By using careful and deliberate pressure on the image, you are able to alter the chemicals inside. Some people even call it Pola-Painting. The images in this gallery were all done using various techniques and tools. The goal was always the same though, make it something special.
