A day with LF photographers
« on: September 12, 2017, 05:11:44 PM »
On a german forum we arranged a meeting of 7 photographers at the Heidelberg Felsenmeer. Infact, all others except me, were shooting large format. It's unbelievable how a bunch of adult guys can be kept busy for hours on a trail of about 100 metres. Don't ask me details about the used gear, I have no clue. Looking at a 8x10 screen under the dark cloth is quite impressive. I brought a Minolta Dynax 700si with a 3.5--4.5/28-105, loaded with 100 and mostly 400 Kentmere film, developed in a homebrewed very simple PC dev.

One of the pics made on 8x10 Velvia 50. Not too shabby imho.

At the collective dinner we had a lot of nerdy talkings, what else?

That looks like a good gang Reinhold, it's nice to go on outings like that. I think you did very well with your "inferior" format camera, nice shots. Thanks for showing.

hi!

"It's unbelievable how a buch of adult guys can be kept busy for hours on a trail of about 100 metres". Hahahahahaha ... Yes !!!! That's was what my wife thought the first time we went out with the Chamonix!!!
Busy and happy!!!! Hahaha.
Your photos are very good! I specially like the portraits of your bunch partners ;-
Ummm, I'm glad of your results with Kentmere 400. I like it a lot!

By the way: nice to meet you :-)

Cheers!
Antonio
