An old picture but just trying out linking from Imgur that I'm testing as an alternative to Flickr for image hosting.

Here is a cactus flower shot with a Speed Graphic on Kodak CSG x-ray film. I developed it as a transparency with My-tol/parodinal developer and hydrogen peroxide/citric acid bleach. I tray developed it so one side was under developed and badly scratched, so I bleached that side off after drying.

In July we had a team outing from work to Brighton - I took a single use camera, unknown manufacture, expired a few years ago. Just one decent image, the weather was bad, rain and wind ... I needed to do quite a bit of tidying up in PSE, there was a lot of dust on the negs, quite unusual from the lab I use.

Here are three made on the streets of Lisboa recently--all on Tri-X, developed in Caffenol C-L, exposed in a Rollei 35.

It's a long weekend here, so this still counts. Expired Kodalith shot @ISO10, stand dev'd in HC110 1:100 for 1.5 hours, and scanned in color just because.

Oh, I was also testing out a new-to-me 45mm f/2 pancake lens. I really like the focal length (and tiny size!), but I'm not entirely sold on the bokeh. Though that's partially a function of the film, too, so I shall test it on another filmstock that I know better.

You won't really get a different bokeh, just a sharper image due to the smaller aperture (boy the shutter speed must have been ssslllloooooowwww!)

Well also I assume there will be more shadow details because it's not BLACK/WHITE Kodalith :P so the bokeh will not be quite so .... abrupt? Anyways, will continue to shoot with this lens. It was wide open at f/2, but the shutter speed was probably around 1/15 or something (it was a pretty bright, albeit overcast, day). I did do some handheld 1/4" and 1/2" shots which came out with minimal camera shake (Peter & I didn't start drinking until AFTER this photowalk ;D )

Next time I go to NYC, we'll have enough beers to see double like this.
