Thanks, Francois. For any Filmwasters in, or planning to visit, Southern California in the next few weeks, there's currently an exhibition of Weston's work at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana. On a personal note: my grandfather's family knew Weston in the early 1900s, and he did my grandparents' wedding pictures when they married in September, 1920. (In that era, the photographs were done after the wedding, in a studio.) I have one signed print and a box of 5x7 glass plates from the photo session.
