Weekend - Aug 11~13
« on: August 11, 2017, 12:41:01 PM »
Hello there,

I don't see a weekend post yet, so... Let's get it started!

First picture was taken in New York a couple of weeks back, at Union Square. I attended a protest of Venezuelans living in the area, against the socialist dictatorship of Maduro. The lady is holding the picture of a 17-year old kid who got killed protesting back in Venezuela. Ilford FP4 and Ilfosol 3 1:9

This was shot on Fuji C200, expired but kept cool the whole time, apparently. I wish I had more than the 50mm for a wider field of view.

I was walking to Brooklyn with my cousin, and being my first time doing so, I snapped a picture of her, like the tourists we were. Kodak Tmax 400 + a $10 CPF from Polaroid.

Every time I take a picture with the CPF, for some reason my scans turn out very grainy. I'm assuming my scanner (Epson V370) doesn't handle it well.

Is that a ghost holding a camera Diane?

These were shot with an Eastman Kodak Rainbow Hawk-eye No. 2 Model C box camera.  The film is Ilford Delta 100 developed in Beer.  I got some vignetting in the second and third shots because I was trying to hold a yellow filter over the lens while I was also trying to frame the shot in the horrible viewfinder.  The coating on the viewfinder mirror is almost completely gone.

I suppose if it was a camera it would be shooting expired film.   ;D

Finally finished the roll I loaded in the Rollei last month. One of the upsides of living in an older neighborhood (by Southern California standards; the area was developed in the early 1920s) is that new pictures of old cars with old cameras tend to look "old" as well.

Rolleiflex 3.5 Tessar and TMAX 400 (ordinarily, I would have used Tri-X for this project but I didn't have any on hand)

And old roll I forgot I had! I actually have to take it back to the lab because most frames were scanned off center for some reason, but these two were fine and look wonderful.

Wow... that's a really old beetle!
That's got to be a 1940's model with that split rear window.

On the 12th I decided I'd go out and shoot a roll of the Film Ferrania P30 Alpha film which I'd received three rolls of a week or so before.

Shot in the Spotmatic F, and developed as per the PDF from the Ferrania website, in a 1+100 mix of R09 for 45 minutes stand. Am pretty happy with that and look forward to shooting the other two rolls.
