And a very nice start it was too!
Subject-wise I'm on the other end of the scale with two car-related shots.

Nikon F3 / Nikkor 135mm f3.5 Ai-S / Ilford HP5+ in Xtol.

Continuing with the car theme, I went to a local car collector club meet last night and burned a few Instax.

With all the car parts we may be able to put together a whole car.  I have some dogs, my neighbors German Shorthair Pointer and my Basenji's enjoying the July 4th holiday.  Both shot with a Leica IIIa using an Elmar 5cm lens.  The first one is with a Nooky closeup attachment.  The film is expired Kodak Gold 100.

Fantastic portrait, Rob. Getting a two year old with a bike to stand still long enough for a large format shot is very impressive.
I haven't dared yet to try the 4x5 on our 9month old daughter, but she loves the Rolleiflex.

This looks like a good weekend. So many intriguing images here. I hope I'm not lowering the standard. Taken with my beloved Rollei 35 Tessar which resurrected from malfunction by a divine intersection. I don't seem to use any other film than Rollei RPX 100 any longer. Along with my preferred drink Rodinal, of course.

Thanks Manuel. I did cheat a bit because I focused using the rangefinder and the camera was handheld. It might not have worked if on tripod and ground glass focused.

Amazing!! A really difficult model for a 4x5 camera ;-)

Cheers

Had a day off on the 4th, so popped down to Brighton for pinhole photography and interesting beer.

Quick steps back by Antony Shepherd, on Flickr
Quite a brisk day with the red flags on the beach and I had to step back quickly when setting up to avoid getting my feet wet. Long exposures blurred the waves out, though.

Admittedly, I made a mistake calculating the exposure (I was using Rollei Ortho 25) so these were very overexposed, but I managed to pull them back a bit in photoshop, though the highlights on the deckchairs one are blown.

Beautiful photos, AJ. I've always liked the "cliche" blurred out water pictures.
