I went to a friend's wedding and took many photos - most of which are only of interest to people who were there. Except for this one:

I photographed a little Wiener with a Micro Cam 110.  The film is Kodacolor Gold 200, expired 11/1991.

Leica M6, Tele-Elmarit 90 (thin), Kodak Ultramax 400 (because it was cheap enough to warrant trying; not my favorite emulsion for general use).

Decided to see how Kentmere 400 performs when pushed this week. Started off with just pushing one stop and I'm pretty pleased with the results. I'll likely try 1600 in the near future.

Grainy Reportage Mr. Miller.  Nice.

Been printing old stuff on water colour paper with Rollei Black Magic.

Was thinking ... I have a few boxes of old fogged paper, could I re coat with Black Magic and see what happens ?

Truly a great range this week.  And Miguel, I agree with that last sentiment.

Even in relatively overcast light Tri-X can usually come up with something, but I think having a Ross Xpres 120/4.5 on 6x9 probably helps out a bit.

Lens from 1925, much older than the cars but 100 years younger than the steam engine.

Those are all great shots Sandeha!  Watch your fingers around that steam engine, obviously built before they invented safety guards.  Does that camera take 4x5 film if you're not using the roll film back or is it dedicated to roll film?

A truely remarkable weekend show in the middle of the chaos! Looks like eveybody is pushing hard.

Miller, great vintage(-style?) shots, just discovered your flickr stream, very inspring. Sandeha, you are the master of (not only) Tri-X. Miles, love the (black) magic pics. Miguel, I should have known earlier :-D

Thanks, Mr Reinhold.  :)

Indeed Bryan, those cogs demand respect.  This Soho was made for 2.25x3.25" sheet or plates but a roll film holders were available.  I've got a 6x9 Rada RFH on the back.  But there were also bigger ones, up to half plate, nearly always reversible format.  You'll see from this shot (not mine) what the range was like - and mine's the baby on the right!

Have been taking the first shots with my Speed Graphic / Aero Ektar combination. Just beginning to see if LF is for me and I think I like it. Here's the first couple from the garden yesterday. Delta 100, Rodinal 1+50.

Really like Becky's and Miller's shots this week, as well as Miles' recoated paper prints.

Limr and I went to see FW's very own Indofunk play on Friday night. I brought out my new Hexar for a real low-light test. I wanted to see how the Program mode AE (which is essentially an intelligent aperture priority setup - I set at f/2, and I'm almost positive that all my shots were at that setting) did with the challenging light, and how the IR AF handled itself. HP5+@1600 in Caffenol C-L.

Apart from 35mm not necessarily being the best focal length for this type of work, the camera itself did better than I expected.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Great shots Andrej! I was going to mention, the only case where I *do* prefer a focal length wider than 50mm is for concert shots where you are forced to be close to the stage (like in this case, where the audience came right up to the front of the stage). Excellent use of the 35, and thank you for continuing my tradition of "most photographed Filmwaster"! ;D

Yeah, it's true that this was probably a case where a wide gave more options, since the space was so tight. I'm just more of a natural 50 shooter, so I wasn't able to frame quite as instinctively. I'm happy with many of the photos, so it couldn't have been that much of a problem.

Just wish I still had film for the bartop sing-along and your wanderings through the crowd. Next time....

You can't fool me! You had that extra roll of HP5 that you brought for me! ;D Or is that what you had loaded into the Hexar?

But I agree with you, it was SO AWFUL that we had to sit there and actually enjoy the music and performance instead of staring at it through a tiny viewfinder :D

And there I was with no camera at all, the Rollei still sitting at home, in a visible place that was supposed to remind me to bring it with me  :P  I think I managed two cell phone snaps and then the battery ran out and I didn't even have that! So yes, I had to endure the "horror" of being totally in the moment and enjoying myself thoroughly.  ;D

Satish kicks some serious trumpet butt, y'all.

Despite my photographic slump, I have still managed a few shots here and there, most of which still have to be developed, but there's always instant. Fuji Instax isn't my favorite but it still pleases me.

Yes, my evening was thoroughly ruined by having to actually pay attention to what was going on around me.  :P

And I suppose I did have that roll I brought for you, but I forgot about it. This may have had something to do with the pre-show libations. Or my failing mental faculties. Or both.
