Holga with Tri-x

this is my kind of place, no people, no cars, no internet....just wide open space, a few cows and a windmill.
20 miles from my house.

Great start Kevin, I love the motion in that shot!  Gary and Becky, I'm going to help get dog and windmill themes going here.  This was the first roll in my Zeiss Ikon Contina IIa.  When I bought it they said it has some problems, they were wrong, everything works perfectly including the light meter.  It's a nice camera if you don't mind the scale focus.  The film is Ilford Delta 100 developed in Beer.

Nice photos, peeps  8). Really like Becky's wide open spaces and Kai-San's first but I'd be proud to have taken any of them.

Mine are a couple from a recent visit to the East Anglian Railway Museum.  The indoor one is the guts of "Thomas the Tank Engine" being made ready for this season of visitors.  Leica MP, TMax 400 and 35mm Summicron / 28mm Elmarit-M (outdoor shot).

Another lovely weekend.

2 days ago I was at a gypsy swing jam session. Great music, great people, so much fun. Better than drugs.

APX 400 new @ 1600, developed in Emofin. Minolta X-300s, 1,7/85 and 2.8/24 lenses. All exposed at f/2.8 and 1/30 or 1/60. More to come with an essay.

I'm loving all these photos, not a dud among 'em :D Kevin's kickoff is brilliant, I love SLVR's alley (I also love alleys full stop :) ), MacArron's bold colors, and calbisu's muted colors :) I'm souping up a roll as we speak, let's see if it holds anything worthy of this thread :)

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

I'm going through one of my occasional periods of "photographer's block", so picked one from the archive. Horseless Carriage Club Holiday Excursion at the Irwindale Speedway.

This is my favorite combination for shooting older vehicles: Rolleiflex MX-EV and Tri-X. Mid 50's cameras, film stock, and cars, seem to be made for each other.

Lovely photos everyone. Liking the jam session shots. This is my contribution for the week, actually taken last weekend on my new toy, the surprisingly decent Lubitel 2 using Delta 400.

  Two different rolls of Kentmere 100 of my dog Arrow and how fast he's growing.  The first one is when I'm giving him a bath in the laundry room,  you can also see my developing stuff in the back in the background.  The second one  I had to use the back of my truck to give him a bath because he will not fit in the laundry sink anymore.
