Pirineos - BN

¡Hola!

We spent last weekend in northern Spain, enjoying mountains and villages of the largest mountain range in my country: the Pirineos !

1.We stayed in a little house in Ansó, the gate to Zurita valley

A cool little house ... (aaargh the feet)

... in a cool and elegant village

2. There is a gorgeus beech forest in the valley

3. After a wonderful ascent between games and snow, we enjoy the breathtaking views offered by the Alano-Espelunga circus crests

4. On our return home, before leaving the Jacetania, we decided to visit the monastery of San Juan de la Peña. On the way we stopped to have lunch and walk around Santa Cruz de Seros.

The magnificent Romanesque church of Santa María!!

5. At last, the monastery of San Juan de la Peña, a jewel in living rock ...

Fabulous set, Antonio. Hard to choose a favourite but the 6th and 8h photographs are definitely the ones for me.

Hi!!
calbisu, Hookstrapped, Adam: thank you!
calbisu... me too. But as I used a strong yellow filter and I hadn't a tripod ... I decided to shoot fully opened, just to say (to be honest I'd shot f/4 as much, hehe).

Cheers!
