if not instant, it'd make a pretty sweet 6x4,5 medium format camera ;D you think it'd be hard to mod?

anyway, sure beats that instax square from fuji that seems to be a digi camera with instax printer :P

Looks great.  I like the fact that there's a faster lens and the price is pitched between the Fuji and the Leica Sofort.  I reckon this might be a good seller for them.

If I didn't already have the Instax 8, I'd be tempted... except for the price.

Sorry, but no full manual exposure control, mechanical shutter. And whats with the apertures? f4.5 and f22? That's it? What happened to f5.6, 8, 11, & 16?

Efforts like these show why folks still want modular cameras that offer Instax backs that can be mated to manual cameras. I don't care how good auto exposure is, I've still seen it fooled too many times. The best exposure computer is still between your ears.

(Plus it's Instax Mini, how about Instax Wide?)

I got to grips with one at The Photography Show at the NEC today and can't say I was impressed at the feel of the thing.  Lack of "pure" manual control or otherwise, I'm perfectly happy with my Sofort for the instant photos I want to take and I won't be joining the Hipster legions.

Somehow I tried to imagine you in tight jeans with a t-shirt with an ironic message on it.... Let's just say it didn't work ;)
