Decent supplier for Fuji Crystal Archive Paper UK
« on: March 06, 2017, 12:05:01 PM »
Hello all

I am wanting to source some Fuji paper in 16x20. It seems to be either an older size (maybe discontinued), or is not currently available in the UK.

Does anyone have experience purchasing this?

I have used keyphoto.com and sharifphotographic.co.uk neither of whom seem to stock it in that size.

I've never bought from silverprint, but they also do not seem to stock it: http://shop.silverprint.co.uk/Colour-Paper/products/433/

It seems to be available in the US.

I don't think you'll be able to get it at any other place than in the states.
I wonder if Fuji will sell directly?
Or maybe get it from a japanese store like Bic Camera, Map Camera in Tokyo or Yodobashi Camera.

If you don't mind having a middleman, get in tough with Bellamy Hunt (http://www.japancamerahunter.com/), he can get even the rarest stuff you can think of. For him, finding and sending you some Crystal Archive should be a cinch.

Process Supplies in London offers an extensive range of inkjet papers in a wide variety of sizes from all the main manufacturers.  Worth giving them a call:  Details below:

This one is a Fuji paper:

Are they able to cut larger sheets / rolls to size for you?  Do they know if Fuji (still) manufactures in that size?

Yeah you can get it in the US:

https://www.adorama.com/fjsfac1620g.html
https://www.amazon.com/Crystal-Archive-Paper-16x20-Sheets/dp/B00L9IW3PC
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/748150-REG/Fujifilm_600008948_Crystal_Archive_Type_II.html

I think it might be a size that is being discontinued, or not made for the UK market anymore.

I think Japan is my best bet, as I think the shipping will be more reasonable from there. And possibly the unit price too.

Buying on the roll is the most economic, but I want it pre-cut. Makes things much easier.
