I went subminiature last week with a Minolta 16-II.  The film is double 8mm Kodak Ektachrome 100D movie film.  Before developing I sloshed it around in 250 ml water with 25 grams of sodium carbonate for a few seconds to remove the remjet backing.  I developed it in Rodinal 1:50 for 11 minutes.

This weekend needs a little color. How about Kodak Internegative shot at iso 5 for 30 sec in a Graflex Speed Graphic?

If I had any time to get together I would have. We shot down one afternoon for a movie that was only playing down there (the second picture is from the theater, waiting for the movie to start), then back home. I'm sure I'll be back down that way with a little more free time soon - I've still got a bunch of shooting I want to do over on the High Line. Maybe we can catch up then.

I've been doing a bunch of shooting on the Highline the past couple of weeks. Good times to avoid the tourist inundation are weekdays before 10am. Also nights right before closing (I think they close at 7pm?). Let me know when you're down here AND have time ;)

yay, the weekend!

Mine are from the Olympus Stylus 3.5 from a few weeks ago. Just recently got around to scanning.
A truly enjoyable camera for just walking around Old Town Albuquerque.

I like 02's church and Becky's arcade. But we need more colour!

I have shot quite a lot of the Natura 1600, it's very nice. The colours are warmer compared to Superia.

Andrej's church with the laser beam shooting out the top is very cool. I also like Becky's con-trail and Kai's post-apocalyptic shopping cart. I guess I'm in the mood for some Mad Max this weekend!  8)

I love Irv's dancer shots! She's got some skills!  :o

I also happen to be of the opinion that Delta 3200 is best when shot slower than 3200 :)

After a week away the mail brought me some developed films and scans taken with my newly-acquired Fujifilm GW690iii - just initial results. TMAX400. Through the shutters at the car park and close-up of a transistor radio.

Another one taken with the GW690iii.
This time it's expired film, Shanghai GP3 ISO100 (dated 2014).
It's very grainy, can't see how this has come about - incorrect development perhaps?
Perhaps I'll try and scan myself to hi-res - already thinking about starting dev again myself....

Some amazing photos posted this weekend. Love Becky's set and Irv B's foot archer.

Mine are a few from our trip to Bologna last weekend. Leica MP + Ilford XP2 Super.  And yes, one of those towers is leaning quite a bit.  We christened it the "Leaning Tower of Pizza"  :o

Fluminan's Our Lady of Trsat Church resonates for me—great sense of place—as do Becky's Albuquerque photos.

Here are four from last week's efforts.  The first two are from a walk in the neighborhood with a borrowed dog, Norman.

The other two are from a walk on a newly-completed part of the Providence Worcester Greenway—a walkway/bicycle path along what was once a canal towpath.  Along this wonderful piece of post-industrial blight, one encounters fantastic opportunities to waste film.  These two pictures were made at the intersection of three rail lines, one of which still runs (at a profit), one of which is now the walkway, and the third of which was never completed (the bridge abutment).

The first two were made in a Leica R6.  The second two were made in an ONDU Pinhole Camera.  Both are on Ilford Pan F+, developed in Xtol.

Thanks James and Kai-san.

Kevin, your waterfall shot is very nicely composed, and Paul, I really like all the lines you've got in your first shot from Bologna.

Nice photo!

Cheers Sandeha, and thank you for your tips on Bologna. It's a great place and we were very lucky with the weather.  The smaller tower is at such a precarious angle that it has to come down (one way or another) at some point - especially as the area is prone to subsidence and earthquakes.

I've posted a few more on a new thread in "Photo Essays" if you're interested.

Both really nice shots.

Bryan, that tower is really weird to look at from close range - especially as the tower just to the right (50 metres or so away) are almost vertical.  The leaning tower has been repaired a few times, as it's suffered subsidence damage.  It's also had several sets of iron bands placed around it to preserve its own structural integrity.  Sandeha's photo gives a much stronger impression of the dizzying feeling you get when looking at it.  Mine's just a record.
