Does look interesting...
I've got a Lowepro that only opens through the back for security and it's a real pain to use. Super comfortable but if you want to access anything, you really have to work to get it.

I've been through several backpacks (a Brenthaven BX2 Pro, currently), but for my last trip, I picked up a small Case Logic CPL-108GY and I love it. It's almost all I use now and it was less than $40.

Interesting-looking kit, Peter.

I came across this a few months ago.

The rucksack looks good and they're gearing up to produce a bag designed for photographers.  I have a Lowepro Mini-Trekker AW at the moment and the only thing I don't like about it is that you have to take it off and place it on the ground to get stuff out or put it back inside.  I tried a few of Lowepro's "Slingshot" series, but never really got on with them.

Something that you carry on your back but that swings around so you can get access on the move really interests me - especially if it will take a travel 'pod.

So far, my favorite sling style bag was made under the Swiss army brand. It's as full featured as those by Lowe pro, just as protective and cost about 40 bucks a few years ago.
