Yes, I was reading that they're discontinuing some of the 3 and 5 pack options - but not the emulsions themselves.  Presumably, more margin in single rolls?

yeah, haven't they continually made so 120 is most often found in packs of five and 35mm rolls as single?

RIP velvia 50 35mm

A real shame.  Mind you, how many people shoot 50 ISO slide film in 35mm, these days?

I shot it once. It was WAY too contrasty for me. Very hard to expose for. Even had metered every shot the film had no shadow detail at all.

Then again, could be the way I scanned it. I have no clue what to do when scanning positives with the nikon.

Once Kodachrome went, I used it a fair bit but slide film's not the easiest to meter for in tricky light.  I really liked it in shade / lower contrast - especially early morning during Bluebell season.  It can be contrasty but, if you catch it just right, it's beautiful.  I've got some 120 (might actually be 220) in my fridge and, when this year's Bluebells are out (end of April / beginning of May) I'll be using some.

Ive heard it shines in 120. I wouldn't mind trying it before it gets chopped next.

I'd be very surprised if Superia XTra 400 has discontinued.  If this were ture, it would basically mean the only 35mm film left is Pro400H.
