Apparently we were thinking the same thing at the same time! Let's just stick with one thread - I'll copy my post over here and we can ignore the thread I started.

Last year I was given a number of rolls of various slide films by a friend and professional photographer who has long since switched over to digital. I've shot a couple, including one of Velvia 50 through my Rollei 35 in Maine last fall, but only just now got around to having them developed. So here's a shot from that roll to kick off the weekend. I'll post more of them over in Photo Essays at some point.

Damn really liking all of those images from both you guys. Great color 02pilot and as always calibsu has that atmostphere.

I took my Olympus ∞ Stylus Zoom DLX snowboarding last week. As an experiment I wanted to see how Kodak Gold 200 does in beer. It makes it a bit grainy.

For my part, I have a big backlog (well, big for me) and I'm leaving town this weekend. Can I just post a cellphone picture of the 6 rolls of film I need to develop?

You and me both! Well, the backlog anyway, not the leaving for the weekend

The backog is one of the reasons I haven't been around for a while.

I did finally start in on it this week, though - woo hoo! In the meantime, I got some color film back from the lab and 02Pilot was kind enough to scan one of the rolls for me to make me feel better after I forgot to push a roll of HP5 from Nice and ended up with a big ole strip of bupkis

I just developed 4 of the 6 rolls! They're drying now. But I leave Sunday morning, so what with packing and US inauguration demonstrations I doubt I'll get any of them scanned and processed before then

I shall try, though!

I gave up on plans to resume B+W processing due to the six-year drought we've experienced in California. Now that that appears to be easing, it's time to dust off the tanks and reels. For now, though: Leica M6, 35mm Summicron, Portra 400.

It's been awhile since I did any type of film developing. This roll of kentmere 100 has been sitting since July when we acquired Arrow our Labrador puppy. Fast for tonight Arrow is now 62 pound! The picture of the bird was shot at La Jolla Cove.
