Autumn in Stoke
« on: November 26, 2016, 05:57:43 PM »
When the autumn get together was cancelled I took the opportunity to go to work in Stoke and on a pleasant day took a stroll around Trentham Par with my trusty Bronica ETRSi  and some 8 year expired Porta 400. just a bit of spotting no other adjustments

I like that overgrown colonnade in the fourth shot. Quite evocative.
Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Hi Irv, really nice set of photos which took me back years to when I was a callow yoof and was taken there as a treat.

Paul it was a real delight chilly but a right good walk and shoot. you ought to go back when you get a chance and relive it.

I'll have a word with the boss (Lara) and see if we can manufacture a reason to head up there sometime in the new year.  Maybe pay a visit to Little Moreton Hall near Congleton as well - it's only half an hour's drive away up the A34.
