Hello!

Castielfabib, "Castiel", is my home village.
It's an ancient village from the 8th century.
It remained under Muslim rule almost five centuries and was the first village to be reconquered in the old
Kingdom of Valencia ... eight centuries ago.

It has only 200 hundred inhabitants ... now.
It was a richer and more populated village until the sixties of the 20th century.
It reached the two thousands inhabitants in the first half of the century.

My family arrived there in the 20th century.
My grandpa was THE physician during thirty years, from the early forties. He was exiled there after the Civil War ... history.

In the following photographs I tried to capture what I love of Castiel, its character and uniqueness ...
