Japan and the Contax G1
« on: January 13, 2016, 10:15:58 AM »
Few months ago I finally went to Japan. It was a family trip, so I went together with my little family. I brought with me the Contax G1 with the 28mm lens. Even being a family trip I was able to do some street photography on my own. I left our accommodation pretty early in the morning and I roamed around with the little camera attached to my wrist. All in all was a fantastic experience, afte seeing many japan shots from fellow filmwasters I finally had the opportunity to give it a try myself ; )

The last of the B&W and the first and fourth color shots really stand out. Nicely done.
Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Nice photos. The shot of the car driving through the bamboo is particularly impressive. Reminds me of a scene from the beginning of Spirited Away.

Fantastic (two) sets of photos.  The third of the B&W and the first and fourth of the colour sets are, for me, the stand out photos - but that's being picky.

Nice storrytelling and it looks like you had a good time, lots of impressions and surprises? First colour is just amazing. Plenty enough inspiration for a short novel!

Thanks Aksel  :) A short novel you said, could it be from Haruki Murakami? Love that writer  ;D

What I think about when I think about photographing?!

Echo the sentiment on the bamboo hedges, smashing. The perspective on the shot with the chap and his wheelbarrow caught me too.

Would not mind a touch of Murakami, he or rather "the wind up bird chronicle" was responsible for me handing in my coursework late.
Totally worth it!
