This weekend I'll go with a cliché sunset on the beach shot with a normal Holga on portra 400 that I decided to push a stop and it worked out pretty well

Love the bookshop shot--a great start!

That's a great bike shot Terry! Also gives a new meaning to "street shot", as more than 50% of the photo is of the street :D

I really like Paul's fence dipping into the sea and Ezzie's Stag.  These were shot at a recent air show during Seafair, a week long festival in Seattle the ends with hydroplane races and the air show on Lake Washington.  I shot these with my Canon AE-1 Program using an FD 100-200mm f5.6 Zoom lens.  The film is Kodak Super Gold 400.

This weekend is awesome already. Hard to pick standouts. The bookworms and Paul's pinhole are very good. The cows make me smile. The colors on Bryan's air show shots is neat.

Thanks Satish; that was the idea.  Behind me was the White House and hordes of badly-dressed tourists taking pictures of each other.  I found the paving pattern in the street more interesting...

So many great photos again this week. Love SLVR's street shots, Volker's harbour structure and Paul's pinhole.
Not sure if I will have anything this weeik. I managed to destroy a role of exposed Silvermax last week by making a year worth of mistakes all in one go.

my faves this week so far Mab's balloon, love that tri-x look. People add too much contrast.

:P I had a 74 911 once upon a time and now that I was in the market for a toy car, I've been watching the air-cooled 911s climb to insanity. The Boxster S was a low barrier for entry back into the German car segment and I realize how much I missed a car that can turn. My 94 MX-5 was the last autocross car I had, I wish the Boxster had a similar gearbox feel.

As long as we're on a German car theme, I'll post mine.

I've been doing a few filmswaps with my friend LA (who just joined this forum as lanolan, but hardly ever posts). The first one is Kodak Gold 400, which we both shot at 400. The next one is Fuji Superia 400, which LA shot at 400, then I took it from him, redscaled it, and shot it at 25. What I realized after developing is that my redscaled images totally dominated, probably because, duh, I was shooting at ISO 25. I guess that even though one needs to shoot redscaled film many stops slower in order to get useable images, it's still MANY STOPS SLOWER :D I want to try this again with LA shooting at say 200 and me shooting at 50, to try to even out the difference.

SLVR, absolutely love that first shot. What a great way to kick off the weekend.

Two (verticals) from me, just so I can get back in the swing. First was still wet on Sunday, last was just scanned. All in Reinhold's Caffenol-C-M.

Ooh, good weekend! I'm really drawn to macfred's cows and johan's cafe this week.

As for my own picture? I'm late, but I'm going to sneak it in anyway :P

Instax Wide from a walk this weekend. Had to tweak the scan a little bit to get it to look like the print.

Thank you, Peter & James. Naturally, that shot is one of the few ones that came out "correctly". I think because he forgot to underexpose to compensate for the sky in the shot, which overlaid quite nicely with my redscale. So maybe only one extra stop is necessary to blend them  ??? Here's to experimentation to get it right! :D

Thanks!

Oceanside has changed a lot in the last few years there building a lot of new high-rise hotels and lots of hip Breweries.

The Oceanside pier is my go to place and  do some photography since it's nearby.
