Goat Roast For 130, in Waitsburg WA
« on: July 15, 2015, 04:40:08 AM »
You may not know it....but in real life, I'm a Chef.  I brought my Mamiya press cam out to an event called "Outstanding in the Field" that I was asked to cook at.  The event showcases farmers and their products, my good friends Pierre Louis and Joan Monteillet have a beautiful farm and fromagerie. They raise goats and make the most delicious cheese, in a very french style.  It was a pleasure to be out in the country for the weekend!

I like the barn shot the best.  I've been through that area a few times but can't remember if I went to Waitsburg.  That area is really off the beaten path, I remember driving for a long time without seeing another vehicle.  The cheese sounds great.

I'm not a fan of goat meat, but I really like the series.
The first shot reminds me of the village feast at the end of the Asterix Comics. Probably that doesn't tell you anything, not sure how well known Asterix is in the US  :-\.
