Tequisquiapan

Tequisquiapan (pronounced Tekeeskyapan) is a pleasant little village in the state of Queretaro, Mexico.  The village attracts week end tourists from Mexico City and the city of Queretaro, drawn by it's pleasant square which is dominated by an imposing parish church as well as it's typical streets, lined with colourful houses.

These photographs were shot during a visit to the village, just after Christmas this year when the streets were still decorated with paper bunting.
