Topic: One subject, One roll (ish)

This was one subject if you count my wife's collection of Johnathan Adler vases and one thing, I was playing with lighting,
 going for a high contrasty-lots-of-black kind of look-
I really wish I had hung a paper screen or something behind them now, because I find the wall texture distracting and annoying.

This is something I always forget, too...

I like the series! Personally, I would've cheated and increased blacks & contrast in Lightroom to achieve the effect, but I like the more natural look you got

Great shots.  I'm no aficionado of still lifes but the second one looks like a couple of chicks lining up to feed from the parent (the big vase lower right). Really interesting set.
