One subject, One roll (ish)

This was one subject if you count my wife's collection of Johnathan Adler vases and one thing, I was playing with lighting,
 going for a high contrasty-lots-of-black kind of look-
I really wish I had hung a paper screen or something behind them now, because I find the wall texture distracting and annoying.

This is something I always forget, too...

I like the series! Personally, I would've cheated and increased blacks & contrast in Lightroom to achieve the effect, but I like the more natural look you got ;)

I really like the background, the wife likes the vases. Thankfully she has more collections than space as it it

Great shots.  I'm no aficionado of still lifes but the second one looks like a couple of chicks lining up to feed from the parent (the big vase lower right). Really interesting set.
