Cine film for the stage
« on: December 25, 2014, 11:26:02 PM »
I took my Nikkormat FTn to my son's high school play "Father Knows Best". I loaded it up with some Fuji 8572 cine film (iso 800) just to see how it would behave with the stage lighting. It is tungsten balanced, so I figured even though it is expired, it would look pretty good. I really like the results I got, even though I couldn't focus very well (old eyes). The grain is there for sure, but if you know me, you know I like the grain. It certainly has a cinematographic quality to my eye.
