Interesting programs on photography in the Great War
« on: November 19, 2014, 12:19:21 AM »
Both should be available for another few weeks via BBC iPlayer.

Hidden Histories: WWI's Forgotten Photographs: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03xsrvv/hidden-histories-ww1s-forgotten-photographs

The Man Who Shot the Great War: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04pj7jq/the-man-who-shot-the-great-war
Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Yeah, not available outside of the UK, unless you are of the sort who will employ various and sundry means of browser location spoofing measures. Lots of handy dandy unblockers out there, should you be so inclined.
