Wow, this place looks like a spring cleaning lady on steroids got after it.

Nice and shiny.

Kudos to the clean team!!!

Where did you hide the link that only showed the unread messages?

Would also be extra cool if there was an easier way to switch between the Forums and the regular Filmwasters page

So we can expect the Filmwasters magazine next, yes? Now that would be sumthing. The new shoes look tasty! I have only one complaint, prft, I never prefered the "who's online" feature...it's like, I don't want someone to know what area of the video store I am in! If you catch my draft. I kid because I love. Other than that, full speed ahead!

Francois, good point. I didn't hide it on purpose. It's a default setting of the new theme that I obviously overlooked. I wasn't trying to change the functionality of the board, just the cosmetics  :) Will see if I can dig that link up again and get it reinstated.

OK, this is something I've actually fixed  ;D ...I just forgot to tell you all about it. When you're in any of the forums, just click on the FW logo top left with the Hassy icon and you'll get sent straight to the main FW homepage. It always REALLY bugged me that you couldn't do that before. Hope you're as pleased as I am.

Francois, this isn't exactly what you want (i.e. it's not a button to click on), but for now a manual way of finding unread posts you can bookmark the folowing URLs:

For Recent Unread Topics (i.e. unread since your last logon) bookmark
http://filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?action=unread

For All Unread Topics bookmark
http://filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?action=unread;all

Not sure if there will ever be a difference between the two options, but there's supposed to be according to the resource I'm using. It's also worth adding that these commands just show the posts that are unread in general, not the ones specific to your user profile.

What did the old functionality provide? Can you remember?

It showed all the unread threads since the last visit...

Hold on... I'm having a brain wave... I'll check the archived pages...
No can do, the robots.txt file has probably blocked the wayback machine...

Well, the second one is probably the best choice yet... closest to what the old link did.
