Well, here in "North Hell" unbridled joy is abounding at the prospect of some new "Fast Show" material. Not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but Rowley Birkin QC is one of my all-time favourite characters and I only have to see him to go into fits of laughter.

@paul - this is the second new series.  They did 6 approx 10 min episodes last year.  But they are all (this new one included) online only, you won't get them on your sky+ box I'm afraid. They are on the 'fosters funny' youtube channel.

they are a bit hit and miss ... the Higson, Whitehouse and Day characters are as good as ever, but the rest are not great. And no Mark Williams - it's not the same without Mark doing 'suits you'.

Thanks for the heads up, Leon. I'll have to check these out.

Did you ever watch "Absolutely"? Similar type of sketch show in north of the border connections. Sometimes a but hit and miss but some classics in there as well.

yes - I used to really like Absolutely.  I was quite young mind.  Morwenna Banks is the most underrated comedian  - she is superb.
