I have looked at all 9 issues and predictably, Kodak are mentioned a lot and not a look in for Ilford!

Well... they were American wartime comics...
I didn't have time to take a look but I guess Ansco, GAF and others were not mentioned a lot either.

Whoah! I know it was 1944 and there was a war on etc. but did any of you read the story in Comic #1 in which the intrepid hero foils a plot on American soil by some Japanese spies? All the Japanese characters were coloured a very nasty yellow (I kid you not) and their features are exaggerated and monstrous. Not very subtle, or pleasant.
