Photo Video Reel: Chicago in February
« on: November 09, 2011, 04:26:23 AM »
Here is my first attempt at putting my photography into a video format. I think this is the only time I’ve ever shot so many strong images on one roll of film. Usually I only get a few good shots per roll, but there was just something magical about that day, and the fact that the diffusion was so strong and I was shooting with Kodak T-Max 400, helped a ton. I’m working on a new demo reel for my video and photo work, and I’m going to attempt to put some of my photography into it, so this was good practice.

Has anyone else tried this before?

I'm no expert on video, but that looks very nicely done to me.

I just piped it into Tunatic and it told me it was from Saint-Saens, Aquarium, from the Carnival of animals

I was a bit surprised that the program would figure it out...

This is worth a download. The program is called Tunatic. It's available for Mac and PC and it recognizes music through sound fingerprinting. You play a song with the recording settings to stereo out, you press the button, it listens and comes back with the info you want :)
