Glad you like the card, and yes there is an town named Essex out in the California desert, conveniently located on old Route 66. Also here is are the coordinates to the location here I took the photo, the Google street view is interesting. 34.569630,-115.485484

Well it's been almost two weeks since I sent my cards out and the on that I sent myself has yet to arrive. Now mind you the post office is 8 blocks away so maybe I'm asking a little too much.

My point is that the cards don't always make it which is why I print extras. So if anyone one my list has not received a card let me know and I'd be more than happy to resend.

Randy, got yours today awesome thanks! i would like to thank you all! me and my girlfriend have been loving these cards! a small thankyou list:
Chricel: Love the contrast of those columns, great shot
Otto: the old rusty car is wonderfull, i did not expect so many colour shots eiether
Karl: glowing lights on a bike, wonderfull
tkmedia: a trully handmade masterpiece
Roger: route 66 is great, love the paper
jojonas: not to pick favourites, but i love this one, the paper is sooo old school(sorry everyone this one wins it for me)
Johann: a masterfll walkway, would be great to just chill there and have a cupa
diane: love the old farm car, the blury colours are awesome
Paul: the brightest card so far!! kinda get a headspin from the colours! awesome

Its called Kodak Bromesko Silk. I got s mall pack of 10 ages ago in a big lots sale, then a few months back a deceased estate sold 6 boxes of 100each! I bought them all for like $30aud. Excelent paper, boxes were fully sealed, a little slow to develop but for 30+ yeard old paper ill take that
