Brilliant entries!
Now I look at it I wonder where my head was that I couldn't come up with an idea :)

I agree with Sean, one of the best, so much to love.

brilliant stuff - really. The one that I connect with most is Mauricio's cityscape.  Being a country (sort of) dweller, I always associate cities with noise, and the tightly packed skyscrapers here really scream at me.

A special mention has to go to Francois - you are so good at story telling in your pics, even with very few elements included.  Very inventive and humourous.

What a gallery !
Wonderful pictures... it's interesting to see so many diferent interpretations of the same theme.

Thanks leon... I couldn't find a better way to show how noise is this city, the scale says it all and I'm glad it worked. Ironically that spot it's one of the quietest in the city since you're way above all the chaos...

Thanks Leon. I must admit I was pretty proud of myself when I found this idea!
The theme had me stumped for weeks until this popped into my head :)
Then, I knew I had a winner.
As always, the simpler the better :)

A great set of images as always. My favourites are Becky's and Sean's, but, that really is picking at the edges.

Some really really great images here.

Particularly like Ed's, Henric's, Piet's and Stuart's

All cool, though Henric's Stumps, Sapata's City Scape and the Becky's VLA really kick it.

One thing's for sure: I won't ever look at a cooked turkey the same way from now on! Andrea's bird portrait makes it look so sweet.

But I wonder something about Ed's picture: was any bribery involved in this shot? ;) Which, if there was any, was it for getting the kids to scream or for getting them to comb down?  :D

Impressive photos everybody; I felt this collaboration really hard. As for me Noise had to be depicted graphically in quite a literal way. With this approach on mind I feel Ed´s picture is the one that closes the most to what I had in Mind. Phil´s one is amazing and Becky´s just beautiful.

Pass me the noise cancelling headphones....what a cacophony!  Love almost everyone that was submitted.  Like Vicky, I really struggled with this one, but talent will out.

All of the images were great!! I loved looking at everyone's interpretations!
August 1st snuck up on me so I didn't get anything in. I was driving home this am (from taking hubby to the airport WAY too early) and came across a section of road where they love to put up election signs. They were everywhere, and almost on top of each other. My first thought was "wow, what a bunch of noise!" My second thought was "too bad I didn't think of that before!"  ;D

You could always go back and snap that shot and share it anyway.
There are normally a few that show up as photos that didn't make it the collaborations for whatever reason.
It's fun to see them all!

I loved all the images and am grateful to be a part of the collaboration.

I think the images that struck me the most were the ones that showed a scene that was obviously silent where it might normally, or on some days anyway, be very loud. Like Out of Season by Stuart Harragan or the silent ritual by Gregor Jamroski.

This is my first post to the forum to please forgive if Im posting a reply to wrong area. Thanks!
