Strictly speaking, Jack Lowe is a "glasswaster", but I hope you'll forgive me for posting this once you've seen his stunning work.
Some of you may be aware of this project, as it's had a degree of media coverage, as Jack visits all of the UK's 238 RNLI stations.
Take a look at the website, follow the journey and maybe support in some small way.

I spotted his work last year. I think he is doing a fantastic job.

It's fantastic stuff, and if I could afford some of his prints I'd buy them. There's something about these pictures which at a quick glance look old until you realise the modern equipment is there. It's a great project and nothing but respect for the RNLI.

oh, these are nice! thanks for reminding me of the project. I had read about it in black and white photography mag but never visited the homepage.

I thought that now would be a good time to give this a little bump, with the news that Jack has now visited / photographed the 100th station on his epic project.

Scheduled to be completed in 2020... he's dedicated for sure! lot's of ways to donate (pick a pint, 250ml collodion etc) or become a patron :)
