Title: Max. this is a picture of my brother in the Scilly Isles on the morning of his wedding a few years ago. It represents many journeys, the most literal being the long-haul trek of getting to the islands - an overnight drive and then a long and very rough ferry crossing. On another level, it represents my brothers deep-felt need to journey across the seas - he works on big ships, and when he's off duty, he is either sailing yachts, or windsurfing and always looking out to the horizon. But deeper than that, it represents the journey of growing up together, going through all the trials and tribulations of a mutually experienced childhood - passing though sibling rivalry and filial fighting in adolescence and ending up proud to be brothers.
