Title: Endangered Species. The journey from hatchling to adult Olive Ridley turtle is fraught with danger. The half-million turtles that return to India's Orissan beaches to nest each year represent a tiny fraction of actual number of eggs laid. It is a sad irony that, having come so far, many females are killed by fishing boats so close to the sanctuary of the shore. Camera/Film: OM-1/Kodak Location/Date: Konarak, Orissa, India, 2002.
