Polaroid 680 -779 film The connotations of "instant" are funny to me, on one hand its easily associated with Polaroids as they appear instantly, on the other hand its a negative word, associated with the onset of digital, a world where people can no longer wait, or maybe its just that a digital image isn't worth waiting for? Nowadays everything is instantly available, the problem lies with the fact that its generally a bunch of generic repetitive mass produced crap. There is also much talk about the decline of Polaroid and how they have got it wrong, the way I see it its maybe its the other way round, and they have it right - they still make quality films that can be used to create amazing works of art and its just the rest of the world that have it wrong?
