Me in a Hoody and Some Disaster Film - Rhys Baker
Title: Me in a Hoody and Some Disaster Film // Interpretation: This was taken on a Sunday morning, a bright and sunny Sunday morning. Facing me is a large open window letting in all the great light. I had just acquired an old Konica C35 Rangefinder and decided to give it a whirl. The camera is great. The processing of the film was a disaster! Quite simply I could not retrieve the film from the canister so I resorted to opening it 'bottle-top' style in the darkroom. However, I had hacked away at it so much with the film retriever before-hand that the film was covered in scratches and tears. Consequently, I could not get it to load onto the dev tank spool. In a fit of frustration I simply bundled the whole film into the tank and screwed on the lid. What emerged 10 mins later was an 'interesting' result. Most of the frames where blotchy and scratched, some totally ruined. This one partially survived. Konica C35 Rangefinder. Ilford Pan 400. // http://rhysbaker.com/blog
