Ed Wenn - Ten More Hours in the Day
Since my wife and I started a family the word 'busy' has had to be redefined in the Wenn household; admittedly due in no small part to my inability/unwillingness to give up any of my interests just because I now have two young children, but the corporate day job helps not a bit. 2008 was the busiest year yet and I'm guessing it'll stay the same in the foreseeable future. Inspired by Ms Pendel's concept photography and use of goop I went to a local playground with my daughter, Amy, to try and create a photo about busyosityness (sic). I'm a simple man so the end result is less than subtle. We drew a clock in chalk on the concrete and added "+ ten" underneath. I got Amy (in her role as one of the reasons why I have no time any more) to sit in the middle of the clock for a few shots. It was Christmas day and it was freezing cold in London. She lasted 3 or 4 exposures before she got too cold and ran away. This is the last snap I managed to get and it's the one I like the best. Polaroid Land Camera 360 + 125i Polaroid film. The goop didn't work out too well on this occasion so I had to fall back on the positive :-) http://edwenn.com
